Allcofa: Is Farming Right for Me?
You've been designing and planning your small farm in your
head for years. Still contemplating whether it is a good business for you or if
it will give you the needed profit. At the same period of time you see some of
your friends or colleagues that venture into the business with just little
fund, when you was still mimicking to yourself whether you will do well in the
business.
Take note that it is now that you should be ready. Because, you
still have the time, energy, and land to make your dreams a reality. At least
the land given to your Association by the ministry of environment will go a
long way to enabling you meet up with your dream. But the choices can seem
overwhelming when all requirements for the program have not been met by you,
probably, because you don’t have the fund and well to do to go ahead. So, where
do you start from?
This is
the first question you really need to ask yourself other relevant things you
need to imagine are: what are my reasons behind wanting to farm? What knowledge
do I have regarding farming i.e., the labor, the techniques, how to garden?
